Linking transformational leadership with job satisfaction: the mediating roles of trust and team cohesiveness

Purpose The study aims to investigate the roles of trust and team cohesiveness as mediating variables transmit effect transformational leadership dimensions on job satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach employs a quantitative approach with 405 respondents samples. are teachers staff schools in East Java, Indonesia. data analyzed using partial least square (PLS). Findings Trust fully mediate relationship between idealized influences Besides, influence, inspirational motivation individualized consideration directly affect Research limitations/implications employee satisfaction educational institutions has been rarely explored. contributes literature role transmitting school employees. Practical implications To increase at schools, principals need be highly concerned about leader–follower relationship.
